AFT Farmstay, AFT B&B, Wombat B&B Pass and AFT Farmhost Program for Groups. The website is produced as a reference tool only, tariffs and inclusions are subject to change or amendment.

Australian Farm Tourism (otherwise referred therein as “AFT”) is a member of the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) and operates under Australian company legislation as a Consolidator, Marketing and Reservations Company for Australian Farmstay, Bed and Breakfast and the AFT Australian Farmhost Program for Groups.

AFT accepts bookings from individual travellers who wish to stay at working farms, bed and breakfast and group farmstay for short or extended stay and from agents, inbound tour operators and wholesalers reserving working farmstays, bed and breakfast and group farmstay on behalf of travellers from overseas and within Australia.

AFT will in writing (by fax/email) confirm all reservations. AFT will endeavour to reserve the property requested or will substitute a property of similar rating within close proximity. All reservations for stay outside 28 days from stay must be secured by a non refundable deposit of 10% of the total and for reservations within 28 days of stay for payment is required.

All cancellations must be in writing (fax or email) through AFT. Cancellation charges and administration fees do apply. Amendment fees will apply for changes to confirmed reservations after and subsequent (including) 2nd amendment/change. Minimum amendment fee $30.

21 to 29 days prior to arrival - 10% cancellation fee applies
20 to 7 days prior to arrival -   50% cancellation fee applies
6 days or less prior to arrival - 100% cancellation fee applies

AFT is itself is not a farmstay, bed and breakfast, transport operator, travel agent, wholesaler or tour operator. The services that AFT provides relate to consolidation, marketing and reservations activities only. All bookings for farmstay, bed and breakfast and associated transport or rental car companies are subject to Terms and Conditions and limitations imposed by the farmstay, bed and breakfast and transport companies reserved or utilised by AFT.

AFT does not accept any liability of what ever nature for the acts, omissions or default whether negligent or otherwise of those farmstay, bed and breakfast, transport or rental car companies or other persons providing services in connection with your arrangements pursuant to a contract between themselves and yourself (which may be evidenced in writing by the issue of confirmation letter/voucher coupon or the like) and over which AFT has no direct control.

AFT does not accept responsibility in contract or in tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which are beyond its control or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on the part of AFT but not limited to war, terrorism, fire, flood, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government or any authorities, accidents on working farms.

AFT provides a service as agent/consolidator for numerous small businesses selling Farmstays and Bed & Breakfast accommodation. AFT does not own or control any of the properties we market. With any disputes over performance of properties, AFT will always endeavour to successfully resolve any performance dispute. However AFT is not in a position to refund without the express agreement of the individual suppliers involved.

Commission Free Direct Bookings - Effective 9th March reservations made by travel trade direct with Farmstay and or Bed and Breakfast properties listed at www.australianfarmtourism.com.au will not attract commission payable by Farmstay and or Bed and Breakfast properties to Australian Farm Tourism Pty Ltd (AFT)

Quotations and tariffs and payments for all direct reservations made by non preferred Travel Trade should be negioitated direct by the travel trade with the  Farmstay and or Bed and Breakfast properties and will not be the direct or indirect respsonsibilty of AFT.
